    WHAT:              World Champion Professional Bull Rider Cord McCoy will be arriving in Seattle Thursday, August 9 in preparation for Lucas Oil Professional Bull Riders tour hitting Comcast Arena at Everett Friday, August 10 and Saturday, August 11. McCoy has a lifetime of experience and is approaching his next showcase at the future weekend’s bull riding competition. Meet the World Champion rider in person and get an insider’s perspective on a lifetime in Professional Bull Riding.

    RIDER BIO:      McCoy has been a Professional Bull Riders fan favorite for years and is no stranger to the media. The CBS hit “The Amazing Race,” selected him along with his brother Jet to compete on their show in 2010. The brothers finished fifth on “The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business.” Three years running, McCoy has hosted his annual invitational in Ada, Oklahoma, benefitting Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society giving back to his community and support local charities.

    McCoy competed in Built Ford Tough World Finals in 2011, riding 3-of-6 bulls, and winning $33,000. He faced the top two contenders for World Champion Bull, riding top-ranked bull Bushwacker for 3.39 seconds in Round 3, and Asteroid for 1.7 seconds. He finished second in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round with 85.5 points on Commotion. He came back from that competition and won back-to-back Touring Pro Division events in 2011.
