Warming Up the Community at X-treme International Ice Racing This Weekend - Global Spectrum to Participate in Global Spectrum Launches “Coats for Comfort” and Fans Get Free Tickets

Global Spectrum, management for the Comcast Arena at Everett, today announced the “Coats for Comfort” promotion at this Sunday’s presentation of X-treme International Ice Racing (XiiR).  Fans are asked to donate a new or gently used coat to receive a free ticket to the event.

Fans that have already purchased tickets for XiiR won’t be left out in the cold: they can also participate in bringing a coat and will receive a free ticket for Tilted Thunder Rail Birds January 8!  In addition, the first 20 fans that already have tickets that donate, will also a receive a gift certificate good for a free dozen doughnuts, courtesy of Top Pot Doughnuts.

Donated coats will go to Cocoon House and Housing Hope.  Cocoon House serves youth 13-20; all other coats (for younger children and adults) will go to Housing Hope.

Cocoon House fosters personal growth and healthy relationships to strengthen and empower at-risk and homeless youth and their families.  Housing Hope’s vision is that every individual aspiring to self-sufficiency should have access to a safe, secure, affordable home.  Both are based in Everett, WA.
