In 2016, Margolis was chosen by the International Association of Venue Managers Foundation (IAVMF) for its 30|UNDER|30 program, which focuses on identifying and developing the top-talent in the venue management industry.

  • EnduroCross Rides into Angel Of The Winds Arena October 27
    6/18/2018

Toughest Racing on Two Wheels Returns to Everett, WA

The 2018 AMA EnduroCross Championship Series returns to Angel Of The Winds Arena on October 27. Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing will certainly keep fans on their feet.

The event will include not only professional riders from all around the world, but also local amateur male and female riders. World & Series Champion Cody Webb returns to defend his crown while two-time Series Champion Colton Haaker wants his crown back. Female champion Shelby Turner and X Games Medalist Kacy Martinez will race against X Games Medalist Tarah Gieger, who was featured on the cover of ESPN Magazine’s “Body Issue.”

“We are looking forward to EnduroCross returning to Everett for its 9th consecutive year,” said Everett Public Facilities District board president Gary Weikel. “EnduroCross is always an exciting event and we have families who have made a tradition of attending every year since 2010.”

EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole and even a few special obstacles such as giant tires. The excitement of EnduroCross is the unpredictability of the track conditions and obstacles; despite the high skill of the riders, a slippery rock or ascended monster truck tire could spell doom for the competitors. The insane gnarly joker lane also returns, which every pro rider must navigate at least once to win.

More information on the AMA EnduroCross Championship Series can be found at www.endurocross.com.

  • Shinedown and Godsmack Bring Tour to Everett
    6/6/2018

As Shinedown and Godsmack gear up for their co-headlining summer tour, the two multi-platinum rock groups have revealed an additional run of dates keeping them on the road together into the fall. Newly added dates on the hard-hitting trek—featuring support from Asking Alexandria—including a stop in Everett on October 10. Both bands are touring in support of their new chart-topping albums: Godsmack’s When Legends Rise and Shinedown’s ATTENTION ATTENTION, out now.

“We really believe this could be a great moment in our band’s career and we plan on running on the road until at least fall of 2019,” Sully Erna of Godsmack says. “We love the guys in Shinedown and we all go way back. There is a very strong mutual respect between our camps and we feel that this tour is going to be a must see!” Adds the singer, songwriter and guitarist: “We’re preparing ourselves to be on the top of our game!”

Godsmack exploded onto the album charts with their latest release, When Legends Rise, the band’s seventh studio album and their first in four years. The 11-song collection, fueled by the #1 Mainstream Rock Song and video “Bulletproof” plus the title track “When Legends Rise,” entered the Billboard Top 200 album chart in the top ten (#8), with four #1 placements on other charts: Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Music Albums, Top Independent Albums and Top Alternative Albums.

“It’s all about impact, and making a statement,” says Brent Smith, Shinedown’s lead singer. “We are creating a show for the fans that is powerful, passionate, and sonically inspiring. The audience has given us a platform to be ourselves, and create something spectacular. That being said Shinedown, and Godsmack will most certainly not let them down. This will be the Rock & Roll event of the year. In other words ‘IT’S ABOUT TO GET HEAVY!!!’”

Shinedown are at the top of their game and the charts with their critically acclaimed sixth studio album ATTENTION ATTENTION, out now on Atlantic Records. The album simultaneously hit #1 on Billboard’s Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock Albums Charts and debuted Top 5 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on iTunes.
